CWK-SCS
CWK-SCS is a major manufacturer of private label brands for personal care, home care and large consumer products. It develops, produces and distributes its own cosmetic brands and large consumer product lines as well as services both in Switzerland and abroad.
In order to sustainably expand its growth, around 100 products are revised or redeveloped by CWK-SCS each year. Emulsions and liquid products can be mixed in GMP compliant production. Modern filling lines with on-line quality controls fill the liquid products and emulsions into bottles or canisters ranging in size from 50 ml to 20 litres.
Special characteristics about the implementation:
- Bulk planning, which allows for the optimum use of raw materials and determines the daily compounds to cover the sales orders for various finished products
- Quality assurance system with batch checks or an inspection lot in accordance with the high industry requirements
- Documentation according to the legal requirements VOC and REACH (VOC: tax on volatile organic compounds; REACH: regulation on the safe production and use of chemical substances in the EU)
- Linking to external systems via interfaces such as the formulation management system Druid, LVS warehouse management system with the integration of all entries from Dynamics AX as well as EDI connection
