Ohly is one of the world's leading manufacturers of yeast extracts, yeast-based flavourings and flavour powders for the food industry, biotechnology, the nutrition industry and the animal feed industry. With modern research and application centres as well as pilot systems connected to production and many years of expertise. Ohly develops customised products in close collaboration with its customers to offer solutions to meet the ever-changing market demands. Ohly is a company belonging to the ABF Ingredients Group, which has specialised in the production of high-quality ingredients for the food industry as well as other sectors.
In early 2008 Ohly decided to introduce Microsoft Dynamics AX based on the industry solution for the process industry by Fullscope and with KCS.net as the implementation partner. This decision was based on software solution's special focus on process-controlled production at Ohly on the one hand and the many years of experience on the part of KCS.net employees in this market segment on the other. The special knowledge of KCS.net employees as Fullscope-certified in the selected ERP solution also contributed to this decision. The project to introduce the new ERP solution at Ohly began in April 2008.
